Ted Cruz, Rand Paul top huge Tea Party poll

This country is too far down the toilet.
Brother Rand Paul nor brother Ted Cruz can never be elected to the presidency.

Get ready for more Bill and Hillary.

It's certainly possible, but I think she faces more problems than the media care to admit. She has won exactly one election in her life. She failed miserably in her last presidential run, losing to a guy with a one page resume.

She will be 68. A significant number of voters will not have been alive for much of her time as First Lady. She affects men much as Newt Gingrich does women, ie instinctive, visceral dislike. She has several warehouses full of various skeletons, dating back to the fetid corruption of her Arkansas days and stretching forward to the Benghazi disaster and her flip dismissal of it, screaming "what does it matter?" If John Kerry could be destroyed by a few Swift Boat ads, can you imagine what they can do with that clip?

She will not have obama's biggest asset, his race. Sure, she would draw heavy percentages from blacks and hispanics, but they won't be motivated to turn out like they did for Obama. Like John McCain, she will also be weighed down by a failed eight year presidency overseen by her party.

I wouldn't mind seeing Jeb Bush being governor of Florida again. He's certainly a vast improvement over the two dickheads running for it now.

We went to the Bush well twice for presidents though and got burned both times. Fool me twice, etc.

Ironically, Jeb would probably have been a much better president than his brother. Now however, the biggest issue facing the country is immigration, and he is dead wrong on it. If he were nominated, conservatives would stay home in large numbers or support a third party candidate.

Christie has had probably the worst year imaginable for any pol not named Weiner. He is now unelectable. In the primaries, he would be Guliani without the charm.

Agreed. Jeb could govern my state, but has absolutely ZERO business running for President, and screwing it up for repubs as repubs have been doing to each other in Presidential elections since 1988... We're DYING for common sense leadership that doesn't want to be the World's cop nor savior, but fights hard to make America free again, and the most desirable place on the Globe to live...

Very good points, brother AAA; and I hope you are right.
However, I just can't see a true conservative winning a presidential election in 2016.
Further, your understanding of politics and the truth is far different from the intellect of those who voted for Obama, especially for a second term.

Only one thing matters to those; whether the candidates name has a D or an R before their name.
The truth isn't part of their equation.

"She will not have obama's biggest asset, his race."

Cynical, and stupid. If the minority attribute, race, was merely what got Obama elected, then it will be the minority attribute, gender, which gets Clinton elected.

Most likely the Tea Party and the old line republicans will have a serious falling out by 2016 and split the Republican half of the lunatic vote over who is more in favor of God, Guns and the Flag, or possibly over who is the greater protector of fetuses and hates the IRS the most. That could assure a democrat victory, especially if the democrats run a popular movie star, quarterback, or half black, half Hispanic dancing with the stars winner. Of course if a splinter group comes along and also splits the democrat lunatic vote, then who knows.

All true. But trumping those negatives, she's also of the "handout party".. and the parasites will vote for more of that... regardless of the candidate.

Except that it has been proven that blacks tend to vastly vote for other blacks - regardless of credentials. I'm not so sure that holds up with white women and other white women.

People in Hell want ice water, too.

:(

The difference between the rate "blacks" typically vote for democrats, and the rate they voted for Obama, is about 3%.
