Former presidential candidate Ralph Nader slammed Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) as a "train wreck" during an interview on RT's "Politicking with Larry King."
Nader said Cruz is "not achieving anything" in the Senate.
"Heâs willing to shut down government, willing to tie up the Senate. He doesnât seem to be able to have a two-way conversation," Nader said. "I donât think heâs really all that libertarian. I think he has corporatist tendencies, big-business tendencies, regardless of his rhetoric. But he's not accomplishing much."
