There are guidelines especially under sections dealing with signs of strength and weakness in the larger contexts (market cycle). And the buying and selling pressures as bars are formed from start to end. And the comparing of one bar with the previous bar or even with two or three bars back. Especially, when trading what I call “price probing.” The market has a tendency to drift towards uncertainty and to also go where more trades will be facilitated.@volpri
In another thread there is discussion of Brooks stuff regarding the recent market activity...

Admittedly, I am being lazy with my participation, I think your answer may help other Brooks students. Since the discussion does not include volume, I have next to nothing to input.
Are there guidelines/rules regarding bar closing prices associated with the length of tails, wicks, and same bar opening price? Further, with the same bar details, are there guidelines/rules versus the/a previous bar?
Thank you... and a happy, healthy, and prosperous new year to you and yours!
It would be quite time consuming for me to explain it all. I suggest interested traders read his trilogy or get his video course where these topics are dealt with in an extensive way. At the moment I have been having some health issues and in addition may have the omicron. My posting will be rather sporadic until I get better and likely until after tax time.
Hope you too have a prosperous year in 2022.
