I can't be happier, you're the best Volpri
Two trades on the Dow. Losing short ( let it come back on me) and a winning long. After that I got a bit too unsure to trade when looking at high and low points etc. I think I confused myself by not sticking to one approach or confusing several. You can probably see missed trades where I could have drawn consolidations and traded them or waited for break outs. Not eassy for me in real time.....yet.

Can you post a clean chart of this without the cloud and boxes...etc I am a diabetic and my eyesight ain’t the best. I need a very clean chart. And what TF is this?Dow started with a usual whip then settled into what I call pullback boxes ? Not enough candles for a "Range" Volpri ?
A close above the box ( for example) then trade a price crossing that candle's close. My target is usually quite small, to get a run up like this is Christmas like for me. Price action is more Important for me but the cut down itchi helps with scalps and getting in out at times. Right -you guys can reply and tell me it will end in tears now![]()

Here are some trades in ES this morning will comment later. But can you guess why the trades were all long trades? All winners. First was averaging down 4 contracts. Other three trades were straight long scalps. Gross at this point $800.00

Here are 5 trades to take based upon the principles expounded on above. You might want to study the concepts and try it out on a Sim. I identified the range in 10 bars then started trading in this example. However, until one develops the identification skill it may be better to wait until there are 20 bars in the range. Less trades but the identification of the market phase and cycle is clearer. I can trade size on this and make some decent money. I did the example starting with 1 contract and adding 1 contract at a time. Of course, a trader can trade any size they want. S-1 means sell 1 contract...S-2...S-3 ..etc. L1...L2...L3 means LONG.

I think it was because my carcass was still in bed.Reading the blog as I find it fascinating and full of winning trades. Question: why didn’t you take a short position just after the 9am large bear bar followed by the 9:05 ( I think ) confirmation similar to what you did in the previous posts ?
