hello all
I'm willing to take the knowledge few steps further concerning technical knowledge, math and exam prep.
I went through the Hull and Bodie Cane Markus books, but looking for more specific info about market structure etc. I know it's a bit vague, that's why I need to learn, hehe...
where/what references would you recommend to acquire professional tech knowledge in the trading business ?
also, do you necessarily have to be sponsored by a company to pass the series 7/57 exam and others ?

I believe you do have to be sponsored.

Check out the curriculums of various finance undergrad and grad programs. They'll detail the objectives and books required. This will give you a framework for various areas to focus your interest and you'll have a reading list to go along.
