Technical analysis with artificial intelligence

Quote from marklucas:

Technical analysis is no science... Why, because the markets rely on the interaction of people, and since sociology is about as much a science as astrology, it is no science.

But there are reoccuring generalities, however.

The Einstein Foundation would disagree with you but what do they know, right.

SaifrX can help you pump out robust trading systems in a little amount of time.
Problem with this software is that it costs 7,000$ for the light version and 30,000$ for the Pro version and is difficult to understand (too math and stat intensive)
I think deep pocket banks and institutions use this kind of software.
Little traders like us still employ technical analysis the standard 30 years old way.

Grant...Thanks (I quoted you in italics below)

Good advice, and that is what I do, it's just that I have trouble producing the yield I want. My latest discretionary system shows some promise and has enough "slop" to fine tune and get me in the 50% club...always looking...always visualizing
  • look at the worse-case – and double it.

Quote from marklucas:

If technical analysis can be taught and applied scientifically, then there is no reason why those algorithms cannot be programmed.

There must be software out there that does that.
