Technical Analysis Doesn't Work

Rcanfiel, alot of the world's greatest traders use technicial analysis, although they use it combined with fundamental analysis.

Just read Market Wizards.

Victor Sperandeo says technical analysis doesn't work sometimes because people use it indiscriminately. I think that is the key.

The stuff obviously works, although it must be used carefully. I think this comes with experience.

If it doesn't work for you, then great. Don't use it. Jim Rogers doesn't think much of it. However, he's an investor, not a trader. However, I think you're just wasting your time arguing against it.

I challeged Ratcanfiel months ago and offered a $50,000 Sotheby's certified Einstein portrait as the prize if he won.
All he had to do was put up something of like value. He ratted out because doesn't have any money. Now he comes back and wants to challenge me with NOTHING on the line? What is the incentive for me to spend the time SHOWING Ratcanfiel how I trade? Just to embarrass him? He is't worth the sweat off my testicles.

Then he posts made up fictitious comments from made up individuals that know absolutely nothing about me or how I trade to substantiate his diverted attention from his being destitute. And you agree with him?

I can now see why some people look up to Hitler, Amin and other physical and cultural rapists.

I am neither a fan nor detractor of Prof Logic,but he clearly has stepped to the plate....Rcan not only has his head shoved up his ass,he apparantly has extra room to do so as he has NO BALLS...

If I was as certain as RCan that T.A. is pure garbage,and Prof Logic is full of shit,then I would jump at the opportunity to

A) Prove T.A is garbage

B) Prove prof Logic is a joke

C) Take the Jokers money

D) Prove that Rcans 2% returns(posted by Rcan) with a Negative Sharpe were an "outlier"...

These "fabricated" quotes come straight from past threads. Search on "ProfLogic" using title. Every quote comes from these.

And I noticed you completely ignore the other comments from past posters.

You are bailing, because your trading is likely either papertrading or fabricated.

The reason I went after you with a challenge, is getting a PM from a former student of yours who thinks you are a despiccable cheat after you took $4,000 from him from what he said was a completely worthless seminar.

You are well aware of these comments. This is only one reason I wouldn't do "money" with you. Not only are you unable to trade, but you will lie without blinking. You are completely unreliable. Another reason I have no interest in playing money games is, that I have received and seen sufficient complaints that you are a charlatan, taking large amounts of peoples' money via useless seminars. There is only one way to prove whether T.A. works and that is CAN IT BE AUTOMATED? Successful use after years of trying implies that something has been added. Probably using the intuitive abilities of the human brain.

exactly. well stated-- however, the p.logics types claim automation, et al yet fail to appear at any and every challenge to this claim.
