So to find out what to think about somebody you check on what "ET ers think about him"? Is that how you arrive at your trading methods?
yes you are right, what a lot of others say about ProfLogic is immaterial. We should listen only to how his own claims about himself.
This, again, fits perfectly. It amazes me often how people behave congruent with type. Consensus instead of research.
Babble
Now let me pose you a question: what do you think "many ET ers" think about somebody who had a vendor website -Futures-systems.com- complete with a tragic-comical trading record, then- when confronted with the silliness of it all- claimed this was just a TRIAL balloon (the REAL trading records will be on the future website, right?) but STILL has not shown ability?
Others assumed it was a for-sale site. You will never find anyone who was allowed to subscribe through either that site or through C2. I feel that when posting, one should give their best understanding of what is true. The C2 site was only used for testing a few ideas, such as using for supp/res. But I just said that, didn't I?
Others (like the Prof and Hershey) dance with the truth. Jack is continuously doing the Salsa around the challenge to evidence his continuing claims of being a high-placed, credible trader with amazing success. The Prof may be playing "Hide in the Closet Until They Stop Knocking" approach. That was the point of the quotes in my last thread.
So why don't you indulge me- even if many ET ers might think that you are full of it- and let me do it my way (I research) by showing me the track records of your REAL trading systems. You know, the ones with the great returns? As you said yourself, 'nothing easier than that, just post it on Collective 2"?
People who quote the "many other people say" never impresses me. Don't "speak to the audience for max effect." You are not a news reporter or political candidate. Speak for yourself.
And, indulge you? Based on the last couple of posts, that is hardly something that motivates me.
I challenged Prof. He accepted and got quiet. I am ready when Prof is. I will put my trades out mano a mano with the Prof. After all, he said "let's do this."
On second thought, this is getting boring... and going in circles.
It is only going in circles because you are trying to appear clever and make impact points, but you are achieving neither.
Unless you post a really witty or even a relative honest reply, you are going on ignore...
I would relish you putting me on ignore. It is tiring, responding to prattle.
Quote from marketsurfer:
Q. why has TA become the method of choice for most retail traders?
A. what could be easier other than simply guessing?
Because that is what they teach in all the trading picture books, I guess. After all, well-chosen examples make it look so easy.
Q. Obviously and objectively, in any group of TA people, some see buy signals where others see sell signals in any and every chart movement--otherwise the market would be TA people V everyone else and this isnt the case.
A. TA is purely subjective and those who try to make it objective are doing little more than placing rules on guesses--fooling themselves that its the TA thats 'working' at times.
It is fun to claim that trading (ie, TA) is an art. And so easy to come onto forums and get off on letting others thinking you are a guru. After all, newer traders are so gullible, and if you can't make money trading, you can at least make money selling $4000 seminars in other countries where they don't know your reputation as well...
Funny, TA believers don't like people asking whether or not the Emporer's cupboard (and body) are bare
Studies? Don't confuse the matter with facts. Or "you want a study? I made money on 3 of 5 days last week with indicators X and Y. What more proof do you want?"

1. Definitely unfunny writing, sorry.
2.And no trading value either that I can see: I challenged you is because you started this thread with his asinine premise, while not showing any credibility yourself.
Let me explain: Anybody who does really not know that there are SOME traders out there making money with Technical Analysis needs their heads examined. PERIOD. And please- forget about Jack Hershey or Proflogic or Spyder.
Did you ever hear about Marty Schwartz? Probably not. I know a guy who sat next to him for over a year (relative by marriage). Marty made between 5 and 15 Mil a year, for perhaps the last 20 years. Marty uses his own combination of 5 different indicators, charted them every 6 minutes, and when everything lines up, entered with 150 or 200 ES. You want to tell Marty that TA does not work? How much do you make per year?
There are a few others I could mention.
I just can not believe that anybody who has studied the markets even cursory has never heard of succesful traders with TA.
So: you must be either astonishingly ignorant (in which case you prove my point that you have nothing to impart) or you have some other motivation, no idea what.
No difference: this has taken too much of my time already,,, and I don't need to convince you, and I don't want you in my trading universe...you stay just where you are .... and invisible to me, from now on.![]()
