But past can help you predict future happenings. And this with high probability if you are smart enough to find the edge.
All trading, no matter if it is TA or not, is based on past. For the simple reason that we don't know the future, and the only information we have is from past. So everybody who buys or sells does this on the past. Even Marketsurfer.
In the US there are hospitals that collect all possible information about patients, treatments and diseases. They put it in an AI system and the computer proposes the ideal treatment for new patients that arrive. The results show that less patients die, they stay shorter time in hospital, getter better and cheaper treatments. In short, past data lead to much better diagnostics for future.

No, will not try to convince you. I need counterparties for my trades, so why make myself my life difficult? And all that for FREE? You can only win and I can only lose.
I'm a trader so only interested in taking out of the market, not putting in the market.
Don't try TA because you will lose all you have, better continue like you do now and lose (a bit) less.

Marketsurfer acts like he is the godfather and the only expert in everything that from close or far is related to trading. He pretends to know everybody and every famous or rich person is a personal friend from him.
