Believe me, I would like NOTHING BETTER than for someone to show me TA produces alpha. I have no ego, I make money by finding and investing in EDGE, not fantasy or the past--- I don't care what works, as long as it does.
You can see the responses I get when I ask this simple question-- stuff like "100 markets simulataneously, wait till september, and various vague chart art postings of past prices"
Just please, TA folks, pick ONE MARKET, start a journal and post all calls for one month.

I know. I use this thread to entertain myself and to educate others. Probably going to get boring in 2-3 days...

You talk about your interview (again about you) with an individual that uses 50 year old astrological analysis and you honestly think that is the same as what we use today using price action to trade.

Arch ( the guy with the 50 year old analysis ) has (had) the number one most ACCURATE newsletter for multiple years--independently verified and proven by those who do such things. All I ask of the ET TA true believers is to start a journal and make calls for one month-- easy right??? NOT ONE< INCLUDING YOURSELF HAS DONE SO< if an ASTROLOGER using 50 year old analysis can consistently produce the NUMBER 1 most accurate newsletter for many many years--- SURELY a TA believer can post calls for ONE MONTH before the FACT on elite...... if not WHY NOT?
the age of something doesn't matter. It doesn't matter if you use an iPad or your multi tasking, tablet computer--- if it works, it works.
By using ARCH as an example, I am proving a point.
If you don't get it, I am not going to explain it.

I tried to PM you but yours is off. Anyways, I'm not here to brag that I make X and Y each day on avg, I'm here to encourage those who see an order within chaos to keep working on it. There are those of us who spent a lot of time perfecting our crafts that are able to apply what we've learned to the mkts, thru different mkt cycles, consistently and profitably. TA is a tool and it can be harnessed. But it's not something that one will be able to have 'figured out' overnight.
