Tebow Vs the Anti-religon bigots

Quote from Max E. Pad:

The Patriots actually do have something to play for. 3 teams are tied at the top of the AFC at 10-3 so they are playing for a first round buy and homefield advantagethroughout the playoffs where as Denver has no chance at the first round buy, and they can lose this game and then they just have to win out to still be ahead of Oakland.

Here is what i wrote on another thread on what i think about the game:

Every teams game plan against Brady is to eat clock and keep Brady off the field. So far this year the only 2 teams to hold Brady under 30 points are the steelers, and the giants, and both those teams have had a long history of dealing with Brady, and they both have a pretty decent offense.

Brady and bellichick have faced a lot of fantastic defenses in the AFC, and only 2 have stymied them this year. The Steelers defense under Dick Lebeau will probably go down as one of the top defenses in history, and they have been eaten alive by Brady and Belichick time after time until this season where they finally pulled it off.

Denver is 21st in yards allowed rushing, and 19th in yards allowed passing, I dont think Denvers defense is nearly as good as the Steelers yet, so i doubt Denvers defense can stay in the game, and keep Denver in the Run Option long enough to allow Tebow to win. This will be the first real test of Tebow's arm besides the Lions where he lost 45-10, and i cant see Tebow staying in a passing game vs. Brady.

They have something to play for but they don't "need" the game. The way they played against Washington tells me they are ripe for a fall. Denver has a 1 game lead in their division and they are behind all other AFC division leaders by two games. They are the fifth seed as far as win/loss goes whereas the Patriots are tied for the first seed (win/loss). Denver needs this game way more than NE does. Therefore, given the stage of the season, and all other factors, I'm picking a Denver upset.

Just to post a sour note. :D

I lived in Denver for about 20 years but I'm not a Donkeys (Broncos) fan. The final straw was when they told the city they were going to move to another city if the taxpayers didn't build them a brand new stadium. (Mile High stadium was just fine!)

I voted against it but it passed just the same. I moved shortly after that. The suckers in Denver are still paying for that stadium!

I have nothing against Tebow, except that he played for Florida. At least it was after big mouth Spurrier left.

Elwood (Elway) was on my shit list too just for being an ass every time you would run into him at a bar. :p

I'm not going publicly say what I think about this left wing douche bag who probably never played a sport in his pathetic liberal life. I'll let this video speak for itself. Suffice to say, he is looking like a pretty big jackass now isn't he. His characterization of Tebow describes everything that is wrong with these left wing f*cks in Hollywood and quite frankly, all over the country. I would love to see Bill stand on a line and try to take a hit from this guy who he thinks throws like a girl.

I made it thirty seconds. As soon as he began putting down an NFL QB who 7-1 as starter I simply could not watch any more.

That was quite distasteful.

Quote from DAS Trader:

So much of what it takes to be a great quarterback is intangible. It simply cannot be measured. How many top qb draft picks are out of the NFL after 4 yrs?

With Tebow, you can see it. He has it. Call it an aura, belief, chi, whatever, he's fun to watch and he's a winner. Makes me wish I was a Broncos fan because if he keeps it up they are going to be talking about him like his last name was Montana.

I may not be religious, but I appreciate his faith. Faith can move mountains.

I have to admit that I am worried about his style of play. Eventually a Ray Lewis/Brian Urlacher/ James Harrison type is going to get clean shot on him.

He is a lot bigger than Vick, but still, mobile QB's tend not to play a full 16 game season.

Just sayin.

The biggest difference between Tebow and other mobile QB's is that Tebow is built like a linebacker, as opposed to these other "mobile" QB's who are built like WR/DB's.

The other day me and my buddy watched Tebow stand up a linebacker and put him on his ass on a running play, i have been trying to find the video of this but i cant find it. But the bottom line is Tebow is far different from a guy like Vick who weighs in at a buck seventy five, Tebow is basically built like a linebacker/RB and if he learns to throw he will be be lethal.

I agree, like Vick, defenses have respect for his feet. If he moves he freezes the MLB and the SS. I use Vick because before Cam Newton he was the best mobile QB in the game( dog killing aside) If Tebow gets them to respect his arm, Denver will be good for a very long time. Plus, Tebow is a breath of fresh air. He is a mobile QB, which has been pigeonholed for players who don't look like him. That is why he got so much heat. AND, he has strong faith!

He is shaking people up. For that, he is good for the game.

i think the in your face "look at me jesus thinks i am special and helps me win" crap turns people off. i dont know. i dont watch football so have never seen the guy.

a thinking person might ask themselves why jesus doesnt have time to help the millions who die of starvation and other causes every year but he has time to help some dumb ass redneck ball player win a ball game every week.
its just a symbol of religious non think. to a believer everything good that happens is praise god but everything bad that happens is rationalized away.

So, admittedly you have "never seen the guy," but you know why he pisses some people off? Assuming that the majority of people share your exact thought process is awful presumptuous, isnt it?

think deep much? they have this new thing called reading. they put words on paper and then transmit it to your computer. then you read it. its amazing. try it sometime.
you dont actually have to see the guy play to know what he is about.

Yeah, he is all about evil things like going to the phillipines to help with orphanages, and building homes for people in third world countries..... what a prick.... At any point you should feel free to regale us with all of your charitable stories from when you were his age.

I can honestly say that as an atheist/agnostic i am completely disgusted by people like you, because you are so blinded by your hatred of religion that you refuse to accept it when religious people like Tebow do good things that benefit humanity.
