I said earlier...there's some confusing statistics by different sites about a lot of issues involving schooling in the United States regardless of the exact accuracy of the data...

One fact is true...homeschooling is increasing (not declining) across America. Also, some sites blame the Pandemic but I remember surveys back in the early 90's about Homeschooling...

It was beginning to gain popularity after many states changed rules involving homeschooling.

Yet you and others cannot cite an example of a single lie. You are merely upset that it goes against the fact-free misinformation you continuously post. For some reason if a respected factual source I post does not agree with your twisted disinformation from disreputable sources then I am “lying”. It is laughable while also being sad. Especially in context that most fact checks are posted in this forum to straighten out the fact-free nonsense you continually peddle.

Regardless, after my own brief fact check, what GWB stated in this thread about the shooting is factual including the info he posted about the issue he responded to my question about "alternative schools"...they're declining in the United States due to school districts not having the funds or prefer to not use the funds on alternative schools...

Something I was not aware had been occurring in the United States.

Yet, he didn't mention one key fact that I discover on my own...the vast majority (a whopping 95%) of Alternative Schools are located in Urban communities.

Yet, I'm a little confused because some sites about the U.S. education system specifically state Alternative Schools are increasing in numbers while other sites state Alternative Schools are on a dramatic decline resulting in those students being integrated into traditional schools (public & private).

That integration of problem students back into traditional schools (often into another nearby school) has been very error filled with violent results. :banghead:

Your observation that 95% of the alternative schools are in urban communities is interesting. This likely sparks debate if minority students in urban environments are more likely to be placed in an an alternative school environment --- and if this helps or hinders their progress. Along with the typical school to prison pipeline commentary.

The other question is if these alternative schools in urban areas are charter or private schools --- or are nearly all of them public.
