If he has lost his mind, it is not recently. He seems to be consistent in changing positions.
To illustrate the point, on the topic of NWO that was cited as the reason for moving from libertarian to becoming a progressive, earlier he seemed to be all for the NWO:

Am I wrong when I check numbers that the actual group who call themselves teaparty(ers) has shrunk considerably? I think they have pretty much gone home and are hopefully considering candidates on their merits, rather than being told who to like or who to dislike. I realize that there were supposedly members from both parties, and some libertarians to boot, I just don't hear much from them these days.
