Tea Party Racism??

Quote from tmarket:

I won't say all Tea Party members are idiots. They have done pretty well for themselves. Misguided perhaps, but not idiots.
To the extent that Tea Party funding comes from Big Insurance, Big Oil and Big (insert lobby group here), I suspect that a large proportion of Tea Partyers are "useful" to groups which do not have the Tea Partyers' interests at heart. Beyond that, we are getting into semantics.

Bullshit. Get your facts straight. The civil rights act was a republican creation. MLK was a republican, dems tried to filibuster the civil rights act. Repubs wrote and backed it.

The African American middle age "business woman" as she described herself in the Youtube video was talkative but perhaps misguided. She asked 'what has the Democrats done for her in the last 40 years?', "nothing" she said. Well, I don't think she would be where she is today without the Civil Rights act of 1964 and 1968:

She should ask her following TPs what their stands are on the Civil Rights Acts of 1964 and 1968, which were passed mainly by Democrats. The political price the Democrats paid for passage of these laws was the lost of the Southern vote and the emergence of the domination of Republican party (what is now called red states in the South).

Here I am.

Yes indeed, the Tea Party movement is just a friendly group of expert macroeconomists and Constitutional scholars. Yeah, that's it.

What's the take-away from this video, despite its cherry-picked nature? It's this: useful idiots come in all shapes, sizes and colors, without any one demographic group having a monopoly.

Which useful idiot demographic group do you belong to, bugscoe?

NICE!
Except that the sign was directed at me even though I did not refer to race or racism in this thread. This maneuver is called a sidestep and is the dance of choice for those losing an argument, such as you, phenomena and other mutations of the same theme.

Would you like a tissue?

your counter to the original video showing real people at a tea party rally is to show a cartoon with manufactured dialogue (incidentally, anyone can program)?

show me a video that has real left wing folks debating the issues. THE ISSUES. not name calling, not racism claims, not mud slinging, not pointing fingers or accusing Bush or anyone else. debating the issues. any issue. pick an issue.
