tax the rich for health care

Quote from MaklodaSux:

I guess I'm the only one here making below $350,000. Whew, guess I dodged a bullet heh?

If I had to guess, I would say 70% of ET posters make less than $35,000.

Still, the idea stands, that soaking the rich is not a good idea or the solution to deficits.

You are talking out your ass. Considering student loans and office/equipment setup, it takes a minimum of $250-300k before you even turn the lights on. And that is bare basics. Add employees, insurance, and all the other day to day expenses, and most dentists in the US are lucky to break even the first few years.

try talking to a few people who work in this area and looking at their books, as i've done, then educate yourself. you don't have a clue.

as i said before, the total overhead for one hour is $300-400. that is based on actual practices i've seen and know. your bullshit is based on what, payscale.com and some uneducated guesses.
