I was expecting $600.00 as advertised and got half that- typical Washington hype.
I figure 3 fillups in my SUV and a large package of Charmin 2 ply.

Heh...here's something hilarious...

I wasn't supposed to qualify for any rebate check (salary too high) yet because I only lived in Puerto Rico for a few months in '07, but paid full '06 taxes, Puerto Rico sent me a $1200 check for economic stimulus.

wait a minute..i'm paying full taxes for over a decade,never recieve a penny from goverment and i'm not even us citizen..
 
Got $1,200 (wife's share included) but I feel a little dirty and un-American, I didn't spend it, I put it in the bank. :eek:

and also spending our money on china(walmart) suppose to
help our economy

I'm last on the mailing list so I don't get mine until middle of July.

The damn $600 will just cover part of the quarterly tax check I had to send on June 15th.
