tax revolt

"The individual is handicapped by coming face to face with a conspiracy so monstrous he cannot believe it exists".

-J. Edgar Hoover, former head of the FBI

And I also love the "your employer pays half of your socialist security" shit.

YOU do, American worker! As an employer you better damn well believe, Mr. 9-to-5'er, that the 7.65% FICA, unemployment insurance, SDI and whatever else I have to pay or so-called match comes off your end in terms of lower wages. Your job is only worth 10 bucks an hour gross wages to me. What is left after taxes is your problem, not mine.

That quote is over 30-years old. Technology is now giving the IRS the ability to do much more than bluff. Worry about the future in a no-cash, all paper-trail economy. There will be no possibility of revolt.

[The tax code] is a monstrosity and there's only one thing to do with it. Scrap it, kill it, drive a stake through its heart, bury it and hope it never rises again to terrorize the American people.

- Steve Forbes

"I believe that if the people of this nation fully understood what Congress has done to them over past forty-nine years, they would move on Washington. It adds up to a preconceived plan to destroy the economic and social independence of the United States".

- Senator George Malone of Nevada, speaking before Congress in 1957
