I just looked it up dragon blowhard, the first $43,000 in income is taxed at 15%, so if I made $40,000 my net would be something like 12%. Christ this sight should be called cluelesstrader.

Why do I even try with you clowns, sure the upper bracket is 39% but that dosen't kick in until I believe $288,000 so just like you everything up to that point is taxed at a lower rate. I pay no state taxes and after deductions for mortgage interest, home office expenses my net is 29%. I will be happy to compare my income to yours.

Wow, why not throw out a prostitute tax, a cosmetic surgery tax, a duck hunting tax, are you kidding me a beer tax is eating you alive. I love it.
Quote from trader1966:
Gee Dragon it was you who said I only made $40,000 not me. I love to torment blowhards like you. You come in and throw down an insult with no understanding of the actual situation and then get all pi--ed when you get called out. You should be glad we don't tax stupidity. Now go back to screwing up whatever it is you do for a living.
Quote from trader1966:
Why would I care to check taxes in NYC if I don't live there, of course they are higher, thats why I live where I do. Dude there are millions of people just like me with incomes in the six figures who don't pay anywhere near 60% in taxes.
