Tax Advice

As I live in CA, I trade from 6:30am to 1:00pm PST, and then go to part-time work from 2:00pm to 6:00pm.

For the first time in 2007, I am planning to declare my trading as business. It occurred to me that I might be less subject to tax auditing if I treat my part-time work as independent contractor, rather than a part-time work.

Any input appreciated !

I heard that the IRS does not like seeing Schedule C (trading as business), along with W-2 Form....

yxy,

I have successfully used the following guy for tax matters way more serious than what you describe.

He is very good and very reasonable - in my opinion.

If you wish to contact him, the details are below.

Morton,

Thanks for your info !

I had a very unpleasant experience with my CPA service, so I need a new CPA. I will check it out.
