I said there were probably a few shares here and there to get. Also, you could be floating around a sell on a long stock position. So I don't know what that does. Either way, like I said, I know there is short stock out there, one third of the float is short, so they must have gotten it somewhere. It's just hard to borrow.

just FYI, it's very expensive to borrow this stock.
so any edge i think disappears eventually.

Yes, but I would have to lock up my borrowed shares for a month and a half...and I wouldn't be able to short the stock anymore.

"Lock in" $7500 or trade it for six weeks...I'll take the trading.

Yeah but the $7500 is risk free. Your trading is not.. How do you know this stock is not going to flatten out? You know the old saying, a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush.
