Tariq Aziz Captured!

Quote from msfe:

He gave himself up in Baghdad after discussions with US forces through an intermediary, according to early reports, though central command did not immediately issue details.

"He turned himself in," a US official said on condition of anonymity. "He was a major regime figure for a long, long time. He was the public face of the regime for a long time. He was close to Saddam for many years."

I disagree that this was an utterly redundant post: this fellow was not "captured" as the US republican press would have it, he gave himself up, "he turned himself in".

Do you hear me? He turned himself in. So much for american warfare: the only Christian in Saddam's cabinet was not captured. They would never have captured him but he had enough of playing "Indians" with those marines and he turned himself in.
