Tara's Thread

<b>Thread Review: q.b.q.b.—</b>"I laughed, I cried, the hamster was hilarious…"

Okay, so I didn’t really cry. But I did laugh out loud and gape in wide-eyed wonder at some of what I read, can't wait for the next chapter.<br><br>

Reversal.

Once again, I can't help but wonder how much healthier the bottom line would be without reversals.

ESCAPING A CULT PERSONALITY
It's not easy - but the first signs that something is wrong is when you mind enters into conflict with what it's told to think.

DISSONANCE: inner conflict that begins to cause discomfort and eventually becomes outright pain. "Once again" and "I can't help but wonder" shows that fictional beliefs don't fit the harsh realities of trading the market.

However Jack's triggers will act like bumper rails and instead of thinking critically in the light of real evidence, the cultist reinterprets it as their failure to be good enough. They try to change the cause of the dissonance when they don't understand what the cause is, and almost always change the wrong thing.

This sets up further dissonance and the circle repeats itself until one either breaks free or the will is completely subjugated. But to break free means dealing with feelings of failure and changing core beliefs... one's very foundations.

How this affects each individual depends on what they get from SCT. For those who break even or make a little profit the dream will always exist and the journey on the hamster wheel can continue for many years. But inner conflicts to a greater or lesser degree exist.

Those attempting to survive from SCT profits are in real danger of mental and emotional problems exacerbated by Jack's deliberate use of stealth NLP and hypnosis techniques.

These methods are so clearly structured in Jack's posts, so indefensible in a court of law, that I think Jack is in danger of a lawsuit should someone want to peruse him.

I know this is going to end Jack's games on ET, but much as I have enjoyed his antics and watching the sheep like the hapless victims at any hypnosis show, it's gone on too far and Jack is getting too good at perfecting his deception.

Jack's boot camp is little more than Jack's SCT Hypnosis Show.

Jack presents HOPE and he is a master craftsman at doing so.

It's going to be very hard to break Neoxx out of his line of thinking ... and at this point almost impossible to make him a profitable trader.

Oh well ... NEXT!

Sorry, to break into this discussion but just want to say that the SCT concept never made any sense to me. Too complicated and seemingly intentionally convoluted and unclear. I did like the idea of drills. But continuously doing the same thing (reversing positions) is NOT how nature works and does not make any sense.
In my experience if someone is explaining you something and you don't understand it, it's not because he is special and you are dumb. It's most likely that he does not know what he's talking about. Every theory or concept can be explained clearly and in simple terms no matter how complicated in the details. My background is in mathematics and particle physics so I know what I'm talking about.
I don't want to bash a method, just give you something to think about. But if it really makes money for someone then good for them. Unfortunately, it's impossible to verify that on the internet and hence here comes Jack the guru of HOPE. :)

You're not breaking in and comments are welcome both for and against SCT.

10,000+ pages is enough to build a rocket for a moon landing. If traders still can't grasp SCT channels there's zero hope. I agree, clear explanations are essential for all progress.

Here's another one of Jack's old tricks... claiming success when there is none and hoping the victim will go along for the ride in fantasy land. But this one didn't quite work out. Remember this from Jack's disappearing post?

How will you feel in 25 minutes if you have not saved this post in word? Find out don't save it; don't even think about what you just read about someone else's effort who is only doubling his money every three days by compounding capital.
Doesn't quite match Neoxx's reality a week or so later, does it? At least Neoxx to his credit isn't pretending he's making money he's not.

ETLURKER, your version of the Cashcow has demonstrated what I, in another thread, have thus far been unable to... consistent and competent beginner level SCT, trading the long diagonals of the channels and wider traverses.

Jack makes contradictory claims like a Mafia bank robber. We robbed the bank. That's because we are so smart. I didn't say that. Prove it. That was not me.

As for Neoxx, he is in trouble because he is loyal to Jack and that makes him even more vulnerable to manipulation. I try to rattle his cage to make him think critically about Jack and SCT, but I still have very high respect for Neoxx as a person.

To outsiders Jack is like a comical pathological liar always inventing fantasies or making extraordinary claims, but the sheep just love to hear his daft boasts. They lap it up and he actually memorizes them using hypnosis. They feed off each other!

I feel I've more or less done my bit to show them they are performers in a crazy traders circus. I have proved Jack demanded that entry was exclusively and clearly for non-critical thinkers who he then convinced were gifted with special insight to begin a never ending journey to the greatest market mastery ever dreamed of.

The only evidence by Jack is frighteningly bad, but each to their own. As it is said, when the student is ready the teacher appears (rotflmao).

But in 2 threads I have touched upon Jack's use of underhand psychological techniques that are ensnaring. There's more information in my other thread about how it's structured and checkable independent references, and not one SCT supporter or Jack has contradicted my evidences.

Jack's can of worms got into Tara's can opener and when we looked inside, it was not just the trading that was bad: it was almost every sentence structure that Jack deliberately used to scam traders.

I don't think so because despite some overzealous moderation, there are enough opposing views on ET to warn a reasonable person.
