11:15 If Iâm not sitting here trying to figure out how to slip one by poor olâ Magna, I more often then not start foolinâ round with my method. Having sustained a four point hit yesterday, slipping one by the moderators has a low priority today.
So Iâm sitting here like a fool, saying to myself: âSure the Keltner stuff, and the elusive impulse move works, but you ainât seen one now for two whole days. Why not look at some other crap?â.
You see, I am deeply envious of people who can trade in the kind of slop we have seen today and yesterday. Deeply envious. Because I canât.
Well anyway, I caught myself messinâ âround with other stuff, and put a stop to it. Iâm not really up for tweaking with the poor moderators (they need a rest), so all that is left to me is to wait â and if need be, wait some more. So thatâs what Iâm doing. (the sound of fingers drumming the desk)
11:47 And then it dawns on me that I am really wasting my time, since I had forgotten itâs FED day. Why canât the assholes put that crap out on Saturday, so it wouldnât mess with the market?
12:36 Sld @910 ½ No question about it- a real honest to goodness impulse move, as determined by the three-minute chart. But it went nowhere, putting in a double bottom in the process. -1/2 point.
2:15 ...hmmm, look at that spike! Itâs either the FED announcement, or the Winona Ryder verdict. (OK, you think Iâm kidding, but both came down at the same time â so there.) If it is the FED, how much longer till they pay me to borrow money? It canât go lower. But then, you just never know with crazy Al.
Since trading is out of the question until things settle down, I might as well have some fun with Magna the Wise by throwing in a few key words designed to give him heart burn. Here goes: The Daily Skirt!, and just for fun 40yotrader and aphexcoil!. I am so bad â donât you just love it?
02:39 Well thanks to Al and his friends, not to mention the folks who trade this stuff, my charts are trashed. Itâs probably best to call it a day.
2 Round Turns / -1/2 Point.
