If there is one common reoccurring theme on this âjournalâ, it would have to be concern for the so called ânewbiesâ You want to know something â I donât share it.
Maybe itâs my own history of pain, humiliation, frustration, and despair â the I suffered, so you should suffer thing. Or maybe itâs a cold hearted streak I didnât know was in me. Or maybe itâs something else â maybe itâs tough love.
If some poor fool thinks that a certain charting package will pave the road to success, than let him learn the harsh reality. I just got rid of a box full of off the wall software that was going to do the trick â but didnât â Iâll bet youâve done the same.
If some poor fool thinks that all he has to do is master the zero line reject, without knowing anything about market dynamics â so be it. The poor fool and his money will soon be parted. So much of this game is common sense â if you come to the table without it, tough.
If some poor fool thinks that an elderly gent in Arizona has just developed an astonishing new indicator, and wants to share it with 700 of his closest best friends, then let the poor fool be the first in line to try it out for his own risk.
I donât know of any other game where the seasoned participants feel sorry for the new kids â the new kids who want to walk away with your money, without paying the dues you had to pay.
