hehe, isn't it funny that, when things get too close to the truth, the cult members come out.

Notice that they do not offer any rational contradiction of the observations detailed in this thread. Instead, they just ignore the truth and plead 'please don't attack us'.

A review of this thread will find that the only rational and intelligent comments come from those concerned about the conduct of the room.

First of all I want to thank the Woodman for his momentary outburst yesterday directing people to this "journal" - the overnight traffic and posting was astonishing. As was the overnight traffic to my humble web site and "forbidden blog" - that can be found at www.cciblog.com .

Every time I get to thinking this "topic" has run it's course, I find that not only does it still have legs, but is gaining momentum. Therefore, I will have to put my thinking cap back on to come up with new ways to inflame the faithful, and amuse the bystanders.

I am pleased to see more of the actual room members stepping forward to either condemn me, and/or defend the room. Unlike your champion, I believe in discourse - in particular, passionate discourse. That's what the "blog" is all about - that's what this "journal" is all about.

Trading is more than indictors, entries, and exits - trading is about emotions, beliefs, truth, and deceit.

My game is to present all of this in a humorous fashion - I expect you to react from your gut, from your heart - with me, or against me.

I have never been a member of Woodie's CCI room but I have thought about joining. Would anyone know if Woodie has ever confirmed or denied these allegations that he gets 'kickbacks' (i.e. commissions) from E-Signal and/or HotComm. ?

Any and all comments would be helpful to me in making my decision.

Compete nonsense!

Esignal does make a contribution to Make A Wish foundation for every new subcriber that comes through woodies room but that is it.

Even if the man took $100 per month from everyone what would it matter? are you that stupid and petty that the best thing you can do is look for this kind of nonsense?

It never ceases to amaze me how far selfish miserable people will go to try and prove that the rest of the world is as miserable and sick as they are.

So the super saleman from arizona doesn't profit from his rubbishing every other charting package and blatant promotion of esignal at every opportunity????

And I'm not talking about Woodie here.

Relax a little here samson - a simple question was asked.

It is not beyond the possibility that woodie recieves some sort of kickback (free charts from esignal?) as he did when he reccomended SierraChart. Sierra gave him his charts as people were refered to them, by him. Then again so what - it was a business relationship - so what. It is not too far to believe that he recieves the same here.

I was there long before you, (even before Gio, who was not one of the first 14 as I was) so yes I have first hand knowledge.

So again relax.

I am just tired of this OLD lame nonsense!

Give it a rest already, I mean who really cares and what does it matter?

Trust me there are some honest to goodness scumball vendors out there that are ripping people off that are out right criminals, just leave the man alone and come into the room if you want to and if you don't like the way it's done then leave.

It's that simple!

No need to get bitter and mean towards someone that charged you nothing!

If you really want to get mad go and pay a vendor thousands of dollars and then you can really complain about something!
 
just for the sake of the argument let's say I am a complete newbie, having limited knowledge of of ta. But, I can be trusted to faithfully repeat the description of a certain trade setup when I observe it.

Good. Here we have the basis for woodies room....several people can identify a set up that can retern income for effort expended in risking capital.

Next , the mix is somewhat confused by one or several traders who like to vary the pattern of the timing of the trade so the original concept of what an identified trade really is becomes somewhat fuzzy and people beggining to miss their expected profits.

Then, someone, has to apply the breaks and bring everybody back to first principles if a strong leader, or to try and manage the ensuing conflict over just who's calls are right if the leader has unwisely decided to cede certain zones of controls to various subordinates.


I think the problem is one of who decides. If Woodie says this is what an apple should look like then, out of respect for Woodie's abilitiy to judge apples evverybody should accept that his definition of a trade and how to perform it should be the standard for trading in his room and devil take the hind most. Another way that seems to have occured here is a splintereing of just what is the right definition of a trade with the newer traders confused by the clash of opinion over what the actual apple looks like.

I've enjoyed the discussion so far, because I have learned a few things about setting up CCI charts and find myself glancing at them, what lines to trade from, a few patterns.... so the ongoing controversy is more than of pedestrian interest to me.

In my opinion, the value of Woodies room is the forum it provides for traders to meet and converse.

As for cci, I can guarantee you that every trader in there, including moderators, uses additional indicators or techniques but resists from mentioning them - either out of respect for Woodie or out of fear of being banned if they do.

In that spirit, how do you view the YM action this morning ....using 133 ticks it simple seems to failing to violate yesterdays's close much in either direction. While, the 5-minute charts depicts a classic battle of rejectiong the bids.
