Lastly, US military should be evacuated under heavy air cover to ensure their safety. Bagram Airbase should not have been abandoned and used as the staging area for flights out of Afghanistan. The perimeter is secured by US forces with superior air assets as cover, including drones flying if needed. So, instead, Joe Biden and his ilk ordered the military to abandon Bagram Air Base including, sensitive military equipment like night vision goggles, advanced rifles of the US army, facial recognition technology including, the database with Afghans personal information and their duties with US military. Hundreds of armored Humvees were also, abandoned. They should have been sent back to the US where they can be reused by other US allies? So, instead, of an organized withdrawal, Joe Biden directed the US military to run with their tails between their legs. Only to send over 5,000 US troops to secure Hamid Karsai International Airport?
