Taliban in Kabul as President Flees

April 5, 2021 article.

It was always a race to see which country would be the first to prove that Biden was the next Jimmy Carter. Israel? Iran? So many to choose from.

Looks like the speculation has come to a screeching halt. We have a winner. AFG.

Wayyy to go Joe. We knew you could do it.

He may be the first to demonstrate it in more than ten countries so he still has plenty more chances to extinguish himself.

Idiot.

Dealing with Iran: Will Joe Biden be the new Jimmy Carter?

Who is this asshole Blinken trying to bullshit with these numbers? They are already laying the groundwork for next weeks shit story of we got everyone out. That'll fly with the koolaid drinkers until the video of hostages come out.

There is probably very little left behind in Afghanistan that the Russians and Chinese are interested in from a technology perspective except for some of the drones and encoding technology for communications
China, Russia, etc. could be interested in our combat identification systems. Wouldn't even need to smuggle the whole vehicle/aircraft/uniform out of Afghanistan.

Nah, 6,000 total, 4500 out, 1,000 still want out and 500 staying sounds about right to me. Why don’t admit that you are hoping that Americans are left behind.

It is also important to note that Americans have been leaving under state department recommendations since April.

Also, this is an historic mission and its being drowned out by people hoping it fails.

The "mission" is the result of a failure. The "mission" never needed to happen had Team Biden of Buffoons had not screwed this up so much. The "mission" will succeed in spite of the buffoons calling the shots. And we'll not know how many are truly left behind until the hostage videos and beheadings begin. It's only a matter of which of their lies will be be expected to believe.

500 staying

Up to 82,000 evacuated as of early this morning...

It’s hard to really describe what a massive operation this is and looks pretty good to hit 120k, which would far exceed any estimates prior to the operation’s beginning.
Imagine having to walk around with a broken back for 3 years and 4 months. That sounds so painful.

I think you guys on the right have spiraled this matter down to leaving planet earth. For some reason bad isn’t good enough for you guys and you guys always seem to find a need to exaggerate. Things are rough in Kabul right now.

We are conducting possibly the second largest human airlift in history from an unsecured city, surrounded by enemies. Huge problem and should have never been in that situation. However, our military is doing an extraordinary job under incredible circumstances and actually making very good progress.

We are moving people and going out of the airport to get Americans. How that will continue, I don’t know. What is the number of Americans requesting to leave, don’t know that either.

What I do know is this will go day by day, hour by hour and right now we are moving forward at a very good pace.

No. The mission is more dangerous because of poor evacuation planning in the months long lead up and a failure to foresee an entire country collapse in 11 days. There was always going to be large scale transport operation. They just figured they had time through October.

Don’t for a second think this is just an American problem. The Euros are ho humming Biden just like you but they didn’t pre evacuate their people either.

It is true no one foresaw this 11 day collapse scenario. Not in the military or the state department or in the media or our allies. No one.

However, it is true if we did a better job with evacuation in the months leading up, as was recommended, then this shit show would not be as bad. It’s a compound problem of a bad decision rooted in not trying to cause panic in early withdrawal compounded by an unforeseen collapse.
