Taliban in Kabul as President Flees

WASHINGTON—

I'm not sure that answers my question.
Where does it say the military's disagreed with anything?

How does that square with Milley's flat out statement that they had no intelligence saying that the country could fall as rapidly as it happened? Meanwhile, they have people closer to the ground begging them to get a clue. Oh I see, it is not intelligence until they choose to acknowledge it.

Clown show. He needs to be court martialed.

The military's standard procedure and something they are proud of is to say that they "plan for everything." That was replaced with, oh yeh we heard about some things that could happen but we did not have any guarantees or think that it would so we did not plan for it." womp.

Yeah this is why I'm confused. It's like the right hand didn't know what the left hand was doing. I thought post-911 was supposed to fix all that. The communication breakdowns between different agencies.
I mean maybe Milley's telling the truth.

Angst is starting to focus on Blinken.

That's what I said yesterday. I give Milley the benefit of the doubt. So if Biden wants to try to slough it off on to him or fire him, go for it. Milley get's to fire back.

While I do believe that Milley may have given proper advice to Biden, he has nevertheless disgraced himself by lying to the public in an attempt to coverup for Biden. They were getting plenty of intelligence that that things were plenty unstable.

WASHINGTON—An internal State Department memo last month warned top agency officials of the potential collapse of Kabul soon after the U.S.’s Aug. 31 troop withdrawal deadline in Afghanistan, according to a U.S. official and a person familiar with the document.

The classified cable represents the clearest evidence yet that the administration had been warned by its own officials on the ground that the Taliban’s advance was imminent and Afghanistan’s military may be unable to stop it.

The cable, sent via the State Department’s confidential dissent channel, warned of rapid territorial gains by the Taliban and the subsequent collapse of Afghan security forces, and offered recommendations on ways to mitigate the crisis and speed up an evacuation, the two people said.

As noted in my previous post.... more information is upcoming. I expect you can easily go do a google search and find all sorts of media speculation on the three letter agencies and the military. I will use the word speculation since none of the stories name their sources.

This is looking more and more politically motivated, period. Polls showed favor for withdrawing our troops... Imo, they wanted a photo-op moment, everything out by 9/11, flags flying, bands playing, job well done. Gotta hurry up, get it done.

Just one problem...

Here is the fuckup that everyone ought to begin with.... why was a 'deal' so hastily signed.

The RNC deleted a webpage hailing Trump's Taliban deal as fighters swept Afghanistan, but says it was part of routine web maintenance

  • The Republican National Committee removed a page hailing Trump's 2020 deal with the Taliban.
  • The removal was made on Sunday, amid scenes of chaos in Kabul as the Taliban seized power.
  • The RNC said the page was removed as part of routine web maintenance.

And the Joe Biden clown show continues in Afghanistan as Americans now unable to get to the airport. Who would have thought that, right ET trolls? Your brilliant minds and that of your leader, Joe Biden and Democrat extreme liberals cannot screw a light bulb on if their lives depended on it. When the Taliban decides to start killing Americans trapped in Afghanistan, what are ET trolls going to say then? Joe Biden will just say, it is President Donald Trump's problem. Oopsie, who is the US President again?

Blinken is the problem as I ranted on at length about yesterday.

Absolutely, he is the problem.

The same guy who led the plan to cut and run in Iraq under Obama and then we had to send troops back.

You have got to be kidding. It is painfully obvious that none of the Faces of Death in this administration are actually running their own show. It's also hard to believe that if any of them disagreed with the current outcome, they haven't resigned yet.

This is exactly what this puppet regime wants to happen. THIS IS THE DESIRED OUTCOME.

That is why we are all having so much difficulty processing the complete ineptness of it all.
