To be fair (lol) the equipment lost by the Afghan Forces was probably going to be a write-off because they were simply walking off when confronted by numbers and there was not proper opportunity to get that gear out. But the stuff abandoned directly by the US military to the Taliban is a serious instance of "aid and comfort to the enemy" and there had better be some reasonable answers on that or somebody will have harsh language used against them.
This guy should have resigned yesterday, retired or whatever.
Every word he has offered since this debacle began has harmed the US.
A guy who had a lot of interesting things to say about generals was Lincoln. I wonder what he would say about General Milley?

McClellan is a great example that shows that someone can rise to high rank in the military and be utterly incapable of fighting.
Austin and Milley are sad examples but there are, I think, still good officers in the military but they are being purged.
