Taliban in Kabul as President Flees

Well, it didn't take long for the expected to come out.

Psaki openly refers to giving the Taliban the AFG money that has been frozen because "it is their money." I mean we all know how the hostage routine works and the Taliban has already scored on both points. They have the bodies and now they have the cash in process.

The cash thing has another dimension as we know too. The Americans make payments by letting Taliban buddy countries propose international funds for them and then the Americans agree to not use their veto power at the UN. Thus money transfers but not technically American money unless you overlook the little fact that US is the primary funder of the UN.

This "it is their money" routine is Iran hostage scenario recycled. Who says it is their money? You have a bunch of Northern Alliance people thinking they are the legitimate government. Instead the Americans give the AFG money to the terrorist government, and arms them as well.

That Trump agreement was brokered entirely with the Taliban directly, with no involvement from the Afghan government.

Mr. Obtuse at it again. You claimed no one was saying that the Afghan army could hold on. The article clearly states that intelligence agencies thought differently and had made claims that the Afghan military could hold. They "revised" previous claims down to six months. We all know the brainiacs at the big table were believing their own bullshit which resulted in giving the thumbs up to withdrawal. Biden ran with that bad Intel, just as Trump did. Biden then went on to botch the withdrawal as evidenced by the giant clusterfuck we just witnessed. Bottom line, the "experts" blew it, AGAIN.

And worse yet, this idiot just gave legitimacy to a government run by terrorists when he turned over security to them during the withdrawal. Basically he said, I, Joe Biden, have no confidence in our troops to manage this, could you terrorists please hold our hands while we retreat.
