Yup, as this artice outlines, there is smoky and fishy stuff going on with this drone strike against ISIS.
It is pretty clear that they just went out and nailed a couple of the known questionable types in the region that were being monitored in order to produce some bodies.
The administration won't name them and won't confirm in detail that they were even involved in the bombing at the airport. Joe was looking flaccid so they took out some guys who were on their shiite-list. Undoubtedly they were bad actors, they have a list in the tens of thousands who are though. Probably if there is another bombing tomorrow they will take out some more on the list. Any two or ten will do. You have no way of knowing when they lie to you. They could tell you they got precisely the ones who did it but can't release the names "for operational reasons." Yeh, okay.
Don't believe ANYTHING the administration tells you.

The failure of the Biden administration to name the two Islamic State terrorists killed in a US drone strike in Afghanistan on Friday has led some experts to conclude they were not high-value targets.
In a press conference Saturday, Major Gen. William Taylor only referred to the dead targets as a "planner" and "facilitator," and would not say if they played specific roles in the airport suicide attack Thursday that killed 13 American soldiers and 169 Afghans. Islamic State Khorasan, or ISIS-K, was behind the attack.
"Normally if they get a high-profile guy they like to name him," retired US Army Lt. Col Brian F. Sullivan told The Post.
"They keep talking BS about ‘eyes over the horizon’ but I think a lot of this is the administration blowing more smoke," Sullivan added. "They’re throwing this up as if the US is reacting with strength and power. So that makes the score something like ISIS 200-US two. Who are they kidding?"

Yup, or various iterations of that offer, most of them having been initiated by Bug-Out Biden's team rather than the Taliban. That was why the CIA guy went to meet with the Taliban - to work the "dialing for dollars" routine.

Could be different players but same theme. Probably too late to do any type of extension of the withdrawal but the same shenanigans just moves over to the American hostages then. I would think that it would be a major security disaster to agree to an extension now that the troops and the piddling amount of support that they had have been drawn down even further. That would be disaster upon other disasters, but we know they can do it.
