Talent/Giftedness In Trading

There is no talent, nor giftedness, required in trading. All you need is the ability to do basic math and to be able to admit when wrong.
But you write as if flipping a coin for trade direction, having a small stop and a bigger target target is a recipe for success. I'm sure you need some sort of method that has a positive expectation

Truth is a rare commodity on message boards.

If one flips a coin for entry direction and one follows proper trade/risk management, they will be a successful trader. Most traders don't understand that trading is about prudent risk management.

This has come up before. I suggest that those who see "talent" are in fact seeing the results of someone having characterized his market. Those who go through this process see things that others do not.

Magical thinking like this has no place in the financial markets.
