Taking 10K to 5M in 8 Years

This will take some time..

Start: October 6, 2010 (EUR 10,000)
End: December 31, 2018 (EUR 5,000,000)

Currently I am just trading the DAX, but that may change during the course of this project. Also, I am planning to switch over to trading futures contracts later, right now I am using CFDs.
 
If you look at the documented track records of the the best traders on the planet they *compound* their capital between 30% to 40% per annum over time. Even the ones that compound at 20% to 25% are considered stars. So curious why you think you you can out trade the best of the best?

Dont piss on someones hopes. but i agree can be very difficult.

I know two guys, whose numbers would not be beleived by anyone, plus 50% returns for 5yrs plus, but they are not "public" guys and trade family money.

Look at Dan Zanger, Don MIller, Lewis Borsellino, for guys who compounded size and won.

Hell, looke at Neke here on our own ET, who has done very well hmself doing the same and positing all trades.

$10,000 to $5 million in 8 years comes to 50,000% profit in 8 years (correct me if I am wrong. My maths is not good).

So it comes to 520% profit per month for 8 years. Even HYIP programs cannot pay such high profits.
 
welcome to the world of compounding , it's not much more than 100%per annum and probably ( can't be bothered to do math) a lot less than 10 % per month , compounded.
