Takers versus the Makers.

Quote from deltastrike:

kind of apples and oranges in comparison to Palin.

Not really, they are both fucking retarded, but one gets a pass the other one doesnt, infact i have even seen main stream media outlets cheering for Biden to run in 2016, you lefties are funny.

Quote from Max E. Pad:

you were worried about Palin, so you voted for Biden?!?!?!

LOL

Exactly. Every time I read those kind of posts I just laugh to myself.

Quote from Tsing Tao:

We are most certainly not on the same team. One side wants to pull apart everything that was so hard won over the last few centuries and replace it with a socialist utopia. The other side wants to keep things based on the charter (constitution) that was originally established. These sides are not working towards the same goal, ergo they are rivals.

Watch out, Tsing's gonna go postal soon on his local Democratic party HQ.

Quote from Max E. Pad:

we arent working with 17k cash against 200k assets, we borrowed the 17k cash, in order to pay billwe cant afford, and we already have 200k in debt, we are just waiting for the creditor to call the loan, at which point we are out of business. Your analogy is bush league.

I agree we need to fix the debt, but without understanding balance sheets, it is easy to get all worked up by specific numbers. Our assets greatly outweigh our liabilities, so net worth is ok. That was my point.

I think you're exaggerating quite a bit. I have no vision of a Socialist Utopia, nor does Obama. By saying we are on the same team, I simply mean the longevity of the United States. We are going to have to adjust, adapt, and work together to make things work going forward IMO.

By falling into the Other Side trap, we become counter productive. I really don't think any Politician is either Right or Wrong in everything they say. We have to work together IMO.

Quote from Lucrum:

Same here.

To quote Churchill I believe: If I were to agree with you, then we'd both be wrong.

Just trying to lighten things up a bit. Having a great trading day.

Quote from deltastrike:

The GOP nominated crappy candidates the past two elections who followed the neo-con, Fox-News-driven narrative. I could've gotten behind McCain, but then they added Palin to the ticket and that's where I drew the line. Get some rational, intelligent and relatable candidates on the big ticket and you'll see a change.

Agree, and thanks for the +1 on the other post.

I think the GoP could come up with some viable candidates if they just get rid of the teaparty nonsense. There are some good people who, if unshackled by ideology, could be great candidates.

First, you can't speak to what Obama wants, nor can I. What we can do is gauge where he's going with his actions. His actions indicate that he's pushing for an entitlement society - there's no question of this.

As for you meaning the longevity of the United States in your "working together" comment, that's exactly what I meant when I said "we're working towards opposite goals". I don't want the United States you're trying to push on me. I want the one the Founders established. So do many other libertarians. What you and the left clearly are pushing for is some sort of entitlement society.

You can (like your pall L-K) say that's not what you want, but you cast a vote to make it happen, so your words are pretty meaningless when they go against your actions.
