Sorry, Nkhoi, didn't mean to waste bandwidth and storage. The most interesting thing to me was Amed's revelation that non-SCT traders draw multi-day channels with only intraday data. I thought that preversion was unique to Jack. But I've learnt my lesson. I won't post any more trades for a while. ET will laugh at you no matter what you do. Trade large, win small. Trade small, win large. You get the same shit.

Why Jack chose to drop a nugget into this bowl of turds I haven't a clue, but it's worth your time to read it.

I'm sure money can be made in spite of using SCT.. but it will be because the user is subconsciously interpreting price action and using good money management with a positive attitude.. it will have precious little to do with SCT itself.. and therein lies the dreadful disservice Jack does.. for how many newbs are exhibiting those traits? Those are the traits of a successful experienced trader.. certainly not the wide eyed babes that are attracted to ridiculous promises of 3 times the daily range without ever a single loss

He simply cannot teach what is required because he never acquired it himself.. he is not a trader.. he is a theorist.. and they always fail in the real heat of trading.. in fact Mr Hershey lost 26% in a trading contest without the heat of real money on the line.. this is the only time he has ever gone on record.. he is a dismal failure even as a paper trader.. that is why you will never see him post a track record.. he does not possess one

And you Nkhoi as a moderator should be focusing these lambs to the slaughter on the only 3 essentials that will produce a decent trader.. price action, money management and psychology

Your current guru worship can only cause these newbs financial pain and it behooves you to protect them and see that they are not left without bread to put on their families table

A patented HypoTrade not predictable by SCT, either entry or exit. Times are Pacific. Hahahaha!

Well done hypo, nice trade. Please post a chart next time - I had to go to the trouble of looking up NQ.

BTW, a beginner Hershey rocket triggered during the 2:15 bar (1935 worst price) and with beginner rules you would hold until 1958 for +23. It shows on my chart with indicators as a green for GO GO GO!

Amed, thanks for the rational response. Very cleaver. I never draw such trendlines on principle because I firmly believe that overnight action is a legitimate part of the landscape. IMO drawing such channels is meaningless because leaving out the overnights distorts the time scale. But, WTF, if some people draw them that way and trade that way, then I suppose it is valid TA. Best regards.

actually, that channel i drew does include overnights.. those are 24 hour charts with constant volume bars..

cheers,
amed

When I started this ill-advised thread, perhaps advised by too much Gloria, I thought that the Jackers would be all over me claiming it WAS an SCT trade.

Little did I imagine that I would be abused as a "one-lot piker", true but hurtful.

Then embarassement morphed into smugness as it transpired that perhaps the beauty of the profit was the sheer one-car efficiency of it, compared to SCTer's collecting ticks here and ticks there in many scared uncertain little trades.

So to engender more abuse (I do love it so!), here is another efficient little non-SCT trade, execution attached. Chart to follow in the next post. All times Pacifuck.
