Take The Year Off....Market stuck in neutral

Quote from R. Raskolnikov:

Maybe you should have said from long term investing or something. Trading is great in this environment, if you understand how to trade ranges.

Agreed 100%.

The swings in the energy sector, from oil service, to refining, to nat-gas, to coal are certainly enough to make money on. People who trade the ES futures exclusively are missing out.

Quote from whatthe:

What does that have to do with TRADING? BTW, you still looking at those planet positions to help with your trades? LOL.

Ding, Ding, Ding!
Congratulations on your new found Reading Comprehension!

Aaron Copland and S2007S don't TRADE for a living. They are college kids that make .25 cents per post helping to keep up web-activity on the Internet.

Have a nice day.

:D

Quote from Landis82:

Nice office!

But I'm sorry Aaron, you lost all credibility here on ET when you posted that photo-shopped P&L of your imaginary 100 lot ES position.

Remember?

I was advised by my attorney to do something of that nature, for reasons you won’t understand.

Quote from Aaron Copland:

After two years of the Obama admin the market will start to move up.

Look at past admin shifts in relation to the stock market. I just don’t see a catalyst this year.

It's moving higher already. As they say never short a dull market.

Quote from MohdSalleh:

lack of liquidity will invalidate many setups and send many daytraders to the poorhouse

Not really. The only thing that "sends daytraders to the poor house" is the POOR DECISIONS.

Quote from Aaron Copland:

Can you show me a chart of a range your trading with success?

Day trading isn't everything, Aaron. Plenty of ways to make a killing in current market conditions.
