Take Ritalin for trading to increase profits

all of my posts in this thread have been twisted humor

same as the source...

use it or lose it

An excellent commentary. Unfortunately, you lost it.

Time to lengthen my ignore list by one

Ritalin is an amphetamine and one of a group of closely related drugs known on the street as "Speed". It is an excellent central nervous system stimulant. It is a controlled substance in the US of course.

There was a famous Hungarian mathematician, Paul Erdos, who traveled the world collaborating with other mathematicians. He lived out of a suitcase and depended on other mathematicians for food money and housing. He wrote more than 450 papers during his lifetime mostly in collaboration with others.

Erdos took amphetamines virtually every day of his adult life. He tried stopping once, but went back to it because he said when he stopped,"all his good ideas went away."

He died in his early eighties in September of 1996.

What is this? Start a drug induced trading column? IF you have to smoke pot or take drugs to trade why not find a job at the local carwash and blow dry those shiny vehicles and keep your money?

seriously...
why not just overdose on ego and lies like HFPT2!!!

Quote from original:

as long as you don't overdue it
Ritalin will focus your mind and may even enable you to learn to trade if you don't already know
I never took ritalin but I know a guy who swears by it
in fact he wouldn't go off it for the world now, he stockpiles it in case of future calamity

Your friend sounds like a drug addict.

In all seriousness, he may need some help. :-(

Is that something to be proud of? Erdos was a fucking lunatic

He was a brilliant mathematician. If you believe he was a lunatic, let that reflect appropriately on you. I had the opportunity to meet him once and am truly regretful that i did not take advantage of the opportunity. The mathematicians i know, one of whom was an Erdos collaborator, all speak very highly of him -- a sense of awe really -- at his mathematical intuition.

that may be true but he paid a price

his own bloody mind, he was unable to think about anything else

a normal human being should be able to consider many things not just be obsessed with one topic
