Umm, Apple has removed Civil War wargames from its app store, if they contain the confed flag...? that's too far now.

So they'll remove the movies Gods and Generals, Gettysburg, etc.

On Wednesday evening’s edition of “The Daily Show,” Jon Stewart interviewed Fox News’ senior judicial analyst Andrew Napolitano. The two discussed the rights of various parties to fly the Confederate flag — a discussion that soon turned into one about policing speech.

“It’s also not the right to speak without consequence or pushback and I’m noticing a trend that says that, ‘I should be allowed to say whatever I want and you can’t criticize me because that’s threatening and intimidation. But it’s not, it’s the conversation.”

“That is called the right not to be offended,” said Napolitano. “There is no such right.”

Very wise words. People can speak what they want, and others can speak that they don't like it. The problem becomes when one party is able to influence the topic to a course of action, and gets one side's rights trampled on. A boycott, a complaint, bringing someone's name up to their company, etc. All of this goes beyond the right to complain, if you will, and brings action about.

So now statues, street names, and flags are the root of racism? This coming from the same people who tell us that violence in movies, racist, violent and hate filled lyrics littered throughout rap music...these things have no impact at all, but a street name? Yep, that's the problem.
