Well, sorry for your wife, but Australia DEFINITELY does not belong to the Chinese. The more come and push up real estate prices in Sidney, Melbourne, Auckland, Christchurch, Vancouver, Toronto, London,...the stronger the hatred and opposition will become.
And everything else you talked about I learned decades ago my friend. I lived in Asia over the past 25 years. So, please give me a break and stop pretending you need to school someone when it is actually you who just uses empty words. So far you proved nothing to the contrary. And spare us with your Chinese government oppression sob stories. GARBAGE IN - GARBAGE Out. The government is the people. The people is the government. Every few hundred years they go through a revolution and right after, the same who pretended to fight the good fight turn into the same filthy selfish fat Chinese uncles. Chinese DNA. And your crap story about the good Chinese people and the bad government, don't make me laugh. Chinese people by huge majority are a bunch of thieves, liars, pretentious people who are only out to maximize their own benefit. They piss on patriotism, sacrifice, respect, honesty, ethics, and moral values. It's a rotten culture, not some good people vs bad people.
But I agree, you had an incredible experience, incredibly horrifying. I am glad you are out of there. What I care about is to push back against the Chinese invasion in many other parts of the world and to then have to hear from those same vultures how great China is. How many Chinese Americans or Chinese Canadians have sent their kids to serve their newly chosen country? How many of them adopt to the culture and language of their new home? Are you telling me that Chinese are not a stark outlier in this regard compared to most every other culture?

It's not and has never been my intent to defend China, but I will always call racism or hypocrisy when I see it no matter who it is directed at.
To clarify, you don't know what you're talking about, pure and simple. You just blurb out racist generalizations that aren't facts.
You may not know but China became communist out of idealism, the same that drove Russia's communists and others around the world. Che Guevara means anything to you other than a t-shirt with a face on it? Do you know that Taiwan exists as it is today because Chinese communist fought and beat Chinese anti communists to the island? Trying to figure out what you clearly don't seem to know. Would you say the same thing about the American Civil War?
You may not know, but Chinese protest all the time. In fact, as I write, Chinese on the Mongolian border are protesting en masse against Beijing's forced mandarin language in schools and the Hanification of the region. How can you generalize about China, when Chinese Uyghur are being sent to re-education camps by the Han dominant government, when northern Chinese are protesting for the right to their local language, when Hong Kong Chinese are fighting a dictatorship, when Taiwan Chinese are standing up to the communist bully... which Chinese are you talking about, because you keep saying "all Chinese"... And believe me, I hate it when I hear "you Americans.." because I'm definitely not a Trump American.
What do I know about China? I lived in China and Hong Kong and now Singapore. I'm married to a Taiwanese Chinese who grew up in Australia and endured racism from whites who are under the impression that Australia belongs to the white race.
I'm no China expert and I have plenty of criticism to levy at Chinese culture and China's dictatorship because, from a westerner's perspective, they often display behaviors that we are not accustomed to anymore. They cheat you because they have no sophisticated consumer protection laws and an untrustworthy legal system. This was also very common in the West in the 70s, before people stood up to demand and win these protections, which some on the right call nanny protections. It's not just westerners who get scammed, it's Chinese first! Fake milk that killed hundreds of kids was not an export product meant to kill westerners ffs. But we aren't immune from scams in the West either.
I worked on a manufacturing project in China and spent a fair amount of time going to small and mid-size factories. I've spent time as the only white person with groups of Chinese vendors in industrial towns trying to convince me of their capabilities helped with dubious translators. I've smelled things and seen things that I didn't know could exist. Nothing was easy. Incredible experience.
