The percentage of true believers in communism in China is very small actually. But that does not make it any better, why? Because most Chinese let anything exist or for that matter tolerate any government, regardless of how evil and abusive, as long as individuals move forward and gain an advantage. That's why you hardly ever see any demonstration or protests by mainland Chinese ever, not because there are not brave people among the Chinese, no, it's because it is in the DNA of the Chinese to never ever do anything that does not further their own personal benefits. Protests if it benefits them, yes sure, but not for a greater good or goal, especially not if it costs a personal price. Suffer for someone else's sake? This concept never existed and will never exist in Chinese culture.
It's not and has never been my intent to defend China, but I will always call racism or hypocrisy when I see it no matter who it is directed at.
To clarify, you don't know what you're talking about, pure and simple. You just blurb out racist generalizations that aren't facts.
You may not know but China became communist out of idealism, the same that drove Russia's communists and others around the world. Che Guevara means anything to you other than a t-shirt with a face on it? Do you know that Taiwan exists as it is today because Chinese communist fought and beat Chinese anti communists to the island? Trying to figure out what you clearly don't seem to know. Would you say the same thing about the American Civil War?
You may not know, but Chinese protest all the time. In fact, as I write, Chinese on the Mongolian border are protesting en masse against Beijing's forced mandarin language in schools and the Hanification of the region. How can you generalize about China, when Chinese Uyghur are being sent to re-education camps by the Han dominant government, when northern Chinese are protesting for the right to their local language, when Hong Kong Chinese are fighting a dictatorship, when Taiwan Chinese are standing up to the communist bully... which Chinese are you talking about, because you keep saying "all Chinese"... And believe me, I hate it when I hear "you Americans.." because I'm definitely not a Trump American.
What do I know about China? I lived in China and Hong Kong and now Singapore. I'm married to a Taiwanese Chinese who grew up in Australia and endured racism from whites who are under the impression that Australia belongs to the white race.
I'm no China expert and I have plenty of criticism to levy at Chinese culture and China's dictatorship because, from a westerner's perspective, they often display behaviors that we are not accustomed to anymore. They cheat you because they have no sophisticated consumer protection laws and an untrustworthy legal system. This was also very common in the West in the 70s, before people stood up to demand and win these protections, which some on the right call nanny protections. It's not just westerners who get scammed, it's Chinese first! Fake milk that killed hundreds of kids was not an export product meant to kill westerners ffs. But we aren't immune from scams in the West either.
I worked on a manufacturing project in China and spent a fair amount of time going to small and mid-size factories. I've spent time as the only white person with groups of Chinese vendors in industrial towns trying to convince me of their capabilities helped with dubious translators. I've smelled things and seen things that I didn't know could exist. Nothing was easy. Incredible experience.
