TA: Parameters will make or break a situation

Yes, I think he did. And I didn't start the thread hoping that someone would buy me a dozen donuts!! But I guess that having not used much English in the last 50 years that my written presentation was so unclear that I received a lot of flak. Oh, well that's that!

Did you show him what you were talking about on the chart? If so no wonder he understood. A picture is worth a thousand words. Maybe you can upload a chart similar to what you showed him.

Yes I could do that showing the 20 or 30 parameters that I and other traders I know use daily. However, my intention was to encourage study and research by some readers regarding what I have found to be an overlooked and important factor when using TA that would be extremely valuable to improve performance.
Additionally, as not all trade alike, the parameters that one discovers could be very different from those that I know of. And it would open a can of worms to explain how and in which situations this and that parameter are used.

Perhaps it would have been clearer and better to have said context instead of parameters. I didn't grow up in an English speaking market environment, so my usage of the word may be incorrect. If so, i'm sorry for any inconvenience it may have caused you.
