coolice beautiful roundup on t-3. apparantly the office didn't do well on that huge reversal yesterday so scott redler on the wrapup is shouting at everyone saying it was all in his game plan
and all should have killed it. he's telling you everything after the fact and not mentioning stocks went down 350 and jiggled like crazy before they ran.like today we was getting smoked trying to catch apple and later after the fact he shows up like he smoked spy. the problem is him and sperling never seem to call out there trades real time and when they're up they always mention they're in lower. now i know sperling is a great trader but the box does nothing for 99% of people. also they fail to mention they do 1 billion shares a month and make millions a month in overides so the more there guys trade the more they make.i won't be using it anymore

i agree. the guy marc is a good trader and i imagine redler is as well. however,they make their money through over rides.

Whenever you rely on another for anything it will only work short term. Longevity is key to any career and for trading you have to make coin or find a strategy that will be steady. You just need one partner that also plays the "in play" stocks. When nothing is going on i have gone on some live chats to talk the market. T3 one time. If they make me laugh i would go on them more.



Just throw out a stock that's active, a trader will know what to do next.

Looking for information on this firm. Have found a couple of threads on this company but am looking for something recent. How is anyone making money in these markets. I mean you have to take a stand and if you are right you might be ok, (only to get whipsawed later) but it seems like if you are long or short at this point its like standing on the edge of the cliff with the volatility so totally out of control and know real reliable indicators. For my money I think the Dow goes to 6500 and this is the calm before the storm (again).

I've been trading equities full time for about 3 years, including time at a fully-backed prop firm. I subscribed to the T3 Live service and was so impressed that I recently joined T3 and now trade in their office. This thread came up in office conversation and I said I was more than happy to throw in my two cents from my experiences so far.

The nice thing about the T3 Live service is that it shows live which stocks their 5 or so best traders are trading, in addition to the audio commentary these traders provide. It also posts the top 10 stocks for the firm overall for the day, as well as the top 10 traders' profit for the day. To me this real time information is much more valuable than someone's opinion who isn't risking their own money or making any profit. Also, many of their training videos are outstanding and I've gotten some great info from the ones I've watched.

As far the office, it has so far lived up to my expectations of being open and collaborative. The traders seem to realize that they are in this together and that there is plenty of money to go around. Their training program for new guys also seems outstanding, if you can get in.

In sum, I recommend both the T3 Live service, as well as the in-house trade desk. I know their is a lot of skepticism on this board so take my opinion for what it's worth. I used to post some on the P&L thread so you can check that if you want to see some of my past trading results. I hope this helps some of you guys wanting more information. FWIW, the last quarter of 2008 was one our best for the traders. The openings, MOC's, individual stock long short trading, all above average. The pairs guys were obviously able to overcome the downward trends with their market neutral positions.

We don't try to be "right" on specific stocks, or get too involved in "stockpicking" of the next great GOOG or CROX for the short term. Most of us trade the same stocks every day, allows for much fewer surprises. (Why dive into someone else's poker game, when you can invite the world into yours, LOL).

I was curious and went to the website to check out the T3 Live for a friend who is struggling. The links on their website for the T3 live don't work? I guess the service can't be that good.
