I'll probably sit this one out until tommorow. Ohhhhhh, but I'll be watching!

I can see this is not a day trade system for the working man.
I am concluding that the ES or any instrument is NOT appropriate to trade using a walk away mentality. That is to say that entering in positions after work and in the evenings then exiting during MOC or if stop or target is hit, is not very smart.
Walking away from a leveraged trade, such as the ES, simply is dangerous. I am a intraday trader/scalper....that recently had to return to his day job out of responsibility to his company. My love is trading and I want to stay in the game. I consider myself well capitalized and have several years experience.
My problem is to learn position trading in the ES. I find the Stops and Targets rather large compared to what I am accustomed to. I feel I need a system to help me in the beginning. T-Rex, this really is not what I was looking for. But thank you for sharing.

It would appear that our original outlook was correct.
Currently the ES is experiencing much technical difficulty taking out that 1033.00 Resistance level. Couple that with the fact that ADX (14 day) is still "RangeBound" and that spells disaster for this mkt.
MACD (10,40,10 A little disclosure on the smoothing consanants used on indicator) is still "LONG" its technical position but "on the sidelines"
until a new signal is generated.
Sidenote: Price not yet into second band @ +2 sigma. Not "TRUE" sell signal yet. Should have bought Fridays dip in HINDSIGHT as the mkt could test the 1040 -1052 level by weeks end.
Probably unlikely though. A good shot of unexpected volatility would be a great RVSL (Reversal) pattern signal though.

You guys are all ready to quit after only 4 trades!!!!!
No wonder 95% (there goes that % again) of traders lose you guys have absolutely NO STAYING POWER!!
So lets say I win the next 10 trades in a row what then?
Let me guess you'll say SEE I new he would do it!!!
Or lets say on the next trade I ride it for 50 pts!
I'd be up either way you slice it!!

By the way, win rate and avg win loss ratio and P/L ratio is only meaningfull to loser backtesters. I really trade, and prove it here in this arena....hey wheres your journal...I da man....

Seriously man...I usually don't criticize since it takes time and effort to even put up a Journal (I haven't been able to do this yet), but this is getting pretty bad.
How about you come forth and tell us what the real deal is? Is this funny to you? Are you paper-trading? What's the real win rate? Perhaps you meant, 9.3%?
