Well your buy order is 1031.00.

So your stop is 11.25 points not 12 points right?

This is the info on this thread so I am not confused now.

you're NOT showing people how to trade. You're spitting out trades, and you have NO intention of teaching anything. You know where you can go.

I have to be perfectly honest here. By your definition your correct. No IM NOT teaching people how to trade. If by teaching people how to trade your referring to teaching them about Stochastic Oscillators, MACD, RSI, Moving Averages and the like. NONE of these indicators will make you money. They dont work in and of themselves. Everyone is using them and doing so incorrectly! That is why most people lose money. You cant soley rely on STANDARD technical indicators. YOU WONT see any of that here. NO CHARTS!!! NO HYPE, NO GIMMICS, JUST TRADES.

Ask yourself this question.

Why are you in the market?

A.) to make money?
or
B.) to figure out the market?

If you chose the later then you should study at a prestigious University and obtain a doctorate in Economics & Finance.

If you chose "A" then none of the rest matters. Simply follow my system. gain confidence in my trading. and follow along and you will make money!

If you are not in the market and don't intend to be then please disregard this reply.:D :D :D

Since the start of this journal...

based on the trades that have been posted in the journal so far...

what's the Profit/(Loss) so far...including any open positions?

To T-REX specifically,

Via this methodology your using...

what's your biggest drawdown period (amount)?

I haven't read everything in this journal and was wondering if anybody has been keeping a tally.

I do realize this is not a teaching journal and I do realize this journal is all about trying to prove something...

so far...within this journal...

what has been proven so far?

According to what I see there have been 3 trades.

Tues: -10.25pts
Wed: No Trade
Thur: -5pts
Fri: -2.50pts (still open)

There was an additional 'winning' trade on Tuesday for 7pts but that was called 'in retrospect', after the market had closed, so I don't count it. Difficult to see how this is going to translate into a 93% winning record but lets give it some time.
 
Thoughts on today's trade.

It would appear that the market has run out of steam.
According to my projections there should be one more leg down by Monday or Tuesday and then a retest back up toward my original Short @ 1019.75.

Yesturday's NRD created the short trigger on today.
It would appear that the market must now test the 1016, 1009, & 1000.00 support levels in order to gain enough strength to push to 1050 level.

Market now needs a close above 1029.75 or below 1019.75 in order to clear up short term direction.

but none of that matters heres why.
Let's say that I told you that my max drawdown was $2.500.00.
and let's say I told you that my win% is 93%?
Guess what?
I lied I lied I lied I lied.....!!!!!!!!!!!
Sorry to disappoint you.

Depending on what variables you use Monthly, Weekly, Daily bars my winning was 187%.!!!!!! on Daily bars!!!!

Now A word on Backtesting.
We all know about the hypothetical BS clause on trading systems right? Well it doesnt matter what you claim about your system. It only matters what you can prove in realtime trading/posting.
I know that this does not answer your question but Im trying to disclose as much as I can in realtime rather than claiming outlandish unproven results.


I know, I know what about the 93% boasting?????
I had to start somewhere. Even if to you that % seems high to me it is half of what the system generated on backtested results.
I know that opens up a whole can of worms and we could take up thousands of pages in a lengthy debate on the topic of curve fitting and over optimization but that is not the purpose of my journa. The best way to answer your question is to simply follow along and you be the judge of the results.
Its only been 4 days. (not even a full trading week)

Be honest. If I'd won on every trade this week would this journal be full of: "WOW" your the best! Where can I learn to do that?

I dont think so. To the unbelievers it doesnt matter what I post here in "Realtime"! It doesnt matter that I may have the uncanny ability to correctly forecast price movement. they will still be skeptical and find a reason to doupt.

Therefore, Im not here to please people. Im here to say look at these realtime market calls!


........and that's the best I can do.
