The market decides how long I hold it for! Basically as long as it keeps making money, I will hold it.
That being said, my losers are usually done with in a matter of seconds-minutes. Winners are usually a few hours - pit closing. If it has advanced a good deal by the close I have the option of moving the stop up and leaving it overnight.
Okay, just took some profit and am leaving my stop at 111 31/32 for the hold.
My R zone for tommorow is 112 35/320 - 55/320 and I certainly don't want to ride back up there with open contracts for the re-test which may or may not come back down. So I have no problem re-shorting tommorow up there, and if it wants to tank right now, bonus.
