Always in safe mode as Future71 suggest. Also the trendmicro.com site has an online scan that will catch some that the others listed in this thread won't always catch.
Nope that does work. Google the subject and you will see. It's much much more extensive than that. You end up using a tool called nailfix and turn off restore and install and run the tool from safe mode. It is one of the few I've seen where it can't be deleted from the spybot bho area. You delete it from there but it restores itself the next time you open the browser.
