Switzerland withdraws EU application

One of the few Western countries where the parliament isn't owned by big money and big government but still serves the interests of the people.

"The upper house of the Swiss parliament on Wednesday voted to invalidate its 1992 application to join the European Union, backing an earlier decision by the lower house. The vote comes just a week before Britain decides whether to leave the EU in a referendum."
 
Most homes in Switzerland have an automatic weapon on hand.

I've noticed they don't seem to have terrorist attacks...

The weapons are only allowed inside homes, terrorist attacks happen in public places and no weapon locked away at home will help you.
