295K that is nothing. He probably spends that on coke and hookers in one week.
A 250K ticket for him is like a teacher paying 60 dollar speeding ticket.
So don't feel so bad.

For the ones with a need for details:
The court of first instance fined him 2007 with 30 daily rates à CHF 3.000.-, i.e. CHF 90.000.-.
The higher court increased the fine to 130 daily rates à 2.300.-, whereby half of the fine was pronounced with a probation period of 2 years.
The delinquent can now appeal against the judgment and go to the supreme court.
(The penalty for heavy speeding can be imprisonment or a fine. In most cases the court pronounces a fine.)
The system works as follows in case of a fine:
1. The court has to define the number of daily rates according to the guiltiness. The number has to be within 1 and 360.
2. The court has to define the value of a daily rate. This should be the amount, a delinquent has each day left after spending his core living. The value has to be within (theoretical) CHF 1.- and 3.000.-. In practice we never go below CHF 30.-.
3. The court has to decide if they pronounce the fine absolute or with a probation period.

typical of you - probably cruising in the gay quarter werent you
seriously - switzerland if full of hot chicks (zurich and geneva anyway). everyone laughs at switzerland for its dull nightlife, but thats because where it all goes on is a lot more 'underground' than most places - you have to look for it. when you find it you wont forget it!
