I usually try to catch the momentum in a strong intra-day trend. I don't do well in slow rangebound days.

+1831 on 12 ES. Shorted the break from 60. Avg entry 59.94, avg exit 56.79. Always tempting to stay in, as the ES looks weak. But will probably call it a day. Discipline discipline.

Update: and of course... after I cover the f*cker drops 5 handles... *!@$#& safe to say I didn't let the winner run...

fyi, the reason I stopped so soon is that my current trading plan has a daily profit target of $1500-$2000. If I get near or above that, I make an effort to stop everything and call it a day.

i just bailed at 51.50 because of the S1, probably too early as well. i waited until we broke the pp at 59, so you got in a little earlier than me.

I should have also taken advantage of the greater liquidity and shorted more at 60. it popped up after the initial break of 60, and I was scaling in. After it started falling I stopped shorting at 12 ES. should have hammered away.

My indications for S1 and S2 may be wrong. I have S1 = 47, S2 = 34. I may have to retool something... :D

I use pit hours of 9:30a-4:15p est

Net +1879 on 22 ES. Scaled in 15 around 63.75, scaled out 10 around 61.5, covered the remaining at 63.25. Bot 7 at 63.50, scaled out around 64.75 to 65.

As they say, had to work for it today...
