I learned most of what I know about technical analysis and swing trading from Gary B. Smith, who writes for thestreet.com. I believe all his archived articles are still available for free there. They go back to september '97 and are very informative. All of his work now appears on realmoney.com, but it's just a daily review of a few charts and some pre-market commentary. He has a paid service now where he gives all the picks that he takes, but it's $90/mo.
